    A man was arrested last week after allegedly punching an elderly woman in Culver City, local police said. On May 6, around 9:45 a.m., Culver City police officers responded to a reported assault at Jefferson Boulevard and Raintree Circle. The officers learned a 72-year-old woman was walking home when a man punched her in the face, causing her to be knocked back on the ground and hit her head on the pavement, CCPD said in a statement.     At its Monday’s meeting, the City Council voted 3-2 to create an ad hoc subcommittee to study the potential development of an ordinance setting a Culver City minimum wage. The dissenting votes were cast by Vice Mayor Albert Vera and Councilmember Goran Eriksson.     The 2022 NFL Draft did not go particularly well for the Pac-12 conference during the recent draft, with only 25 players selected from the conference, the lowest number in over a decade. But it did go well for the UCLA Bruin football squad, with a conference leading six players selected in the draft.
