    In a battle of two playoff teams from the 2022 NFL season, the Los Angeles Chargers hung on to defeat the Minnesota Viking in Minneapolis, 28-24, for their first victory of the 2023 NFL season. The Chargers improved to 1-2 for the season and the Vikings are 0-3 on the season.     The City Council unanimously agreed to keep the current penalty rate structure for nonpayment of the City's business tax. Businesses with less than $200,000 in annual gross receipts are exempt from Culver City's business license tax, which was updated by voters in 2022 with Measure BL.
