Officers Were Working To Keep The City Safe Throughout The Holiday Weekend

An arrest was made for strong-arm robbery when an Officer was contacted by the victim in the area of Sepulveda Boulevard and Machado Road. Officers quickly obtained a suspect description and located the suspect in the La Ballona Creek area.
A suspect was arrested after Officers responded to a radio call about a traffic collision in the 9500 block of Jefferson Boulevard. Upon their arrival, officers detained one of the parties who were under the influence of alcohol. In plain view, the Officers observed ammunition on the floorboard of the suspect's vehicle. Officers recovered a handgun (ghost gun), as well as three spent shell casings from inside the suspect's vehicle. The suspect was arrested for DUI and illegal possession of a firearm.
