Coed Flag Football starts on September 9, at Mar Vista Recreation Center

Mar Vista Recreation Center kicks off its flag football season on Saturday, September 9, with the first day of practices and evaluations at 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Practices will continue on Wednesdays, 4-5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Kids from 7-12 years old are invited to come and test their skills on the flag football field.
The fee is $150 and that covers unforms, trophies and referee fees. After six practices, one on Saturday and another one during the week, the season will start on Saturday, September 30. The eight-week season will end on Saturday November 18, and all the games will be played on Saturdays.
Flag football is one of the fastest growing youth sports in America. It gives the kids the opportunity to learn the game of football in a safe environment regardless of their SKILL LEVEL. It's a great way to introduce kids to a sport that teaches discipline and teamwork.
