An Eighty year old woman was attack at around 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Raintree Village Shopping Center parking lot of First Citizens Bank, according to the Culver City Police Department.

Police said a woman reported that a female suspect attempted to distract her as she entered her vehicle, then a male suspect struck the victim several times in the face and took her purse. Both suspects fled the scene in a newer-model gray SUV, police said. While the distraction was ongoing, a male suspect struck her in the face multiple times before taking her purse. Police say that the suspects made off with the woman's orange Michael Kors purse, a Motorola cellphone, multiple credit cards, $600 in cash, her driver's license and two pairs of prescription glasses.

The victim was treated on the scene by Culver City Fire Department paramedics for injuries of unknown severity.

Police are seeking the public's help to find two people who assaulted and robbed the woman.
