Culver City Welcomed an Official Delegation from Iksan City, South Korea, to Celebrate a Milestone on their Sister City Relationship

Culver City Sister City Committee (CCSCC) along with Culver City welcomed a delegation of seven from Iksan City (Iksan), South Korea, headed by The Honorable Jung Heon-yul to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Culver – Iksan sister city relationship.

During a welcome reception at the Historic Culver Hotel, Mayor Albert Vera and Mayor Jung Heon-yul signed a document in Harry Culver's office renewing the international friendship of both cities. A formal presentation was held in the City Council chambers on Monday, June 26 where both Mayors spoke and exchanged symbolic gifts. A reception, open to the public, was held in the Patcchia Room following the presentation.

While in Culver City, the delegation visited places showcasing our city that included the Historical Society, Wende Museum, Sony Studios, Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook along with visits to the city's Fire and Police Departments.
