The Passing of a Culver City High School Sports Hall of Famer

Last week on Wednesday night Culver City middle school and high school lost a member of the Panther and Centaur Family when Aki Wilson, left, passed away from a heart attack. He was an assistant football coach for the high school and the head football coach for the middle school. He was an outstanding athlete at Culver City high school who graduated in 1995. He was also a member of the Culver City high school Hall of Fame. Pictured with Wilson is Culver City football and track and field coach Jahmal Wright. A memorial service for Wilson will be held on Friday, May 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the high school football stadium. Funeral Services are pending.
