Vonderahe,Sister Margaret Anne C.S.J. age 89, passed away on Wednesday December 15, 2021 in Los Angeles, CA. Born July 26, 1932 in Torrance California, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet since March 19, 1951. Sister Margaret Anne's years in ministry were devoted to education at all levels. She also served in Formation, as Assistant Director of Novices and Postulant Director. Sr. Margaret Anne received degrees in Education, English, Administration, Counseling, and Pastoral Care. In 2015 she joined Holy Family Community to begin yet another ministry--to offer prayer and witness. She participated in activities with the Sisters, became a Vitas Hospice volunteer, and in her own quiet, personal way, she warmly greeted all she encountered.

She was preceded in death by her brother David Benjamen. She is survived by her sister Loretta Dorcette and many nieces and nephews.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Zoom January 19 , 2022 at 2 PM. Graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA, January 10, 2022 at 11 AM.
