CC Police Seeking 4 Suspects Who Pistol-Whipped Man to Steal his Jewelry

Culver City police are looking for four suspects who pistol whipped a man Sunday morning, taking his diamond necklace and bracelet and his Porsche Boxer keys.

The armed robbery occurred on August 22 at approximately 2:34 a.m. in the vicinity of Jacob Ave and Caroline Ave., according to the Culver City Police Department.

"The victim was approached by the suspects after parking his vehicle," said CCPD in a press release. "The victim was tackled to the ground where he was punched and kicked several times."

Police said two of the suspects "struck the victim on the head multiple times with handguns, ripped a necklace from the victim's neck, and a bracelet from his wrist."

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening head injuries, CCPD said.

The suspects were last seen fleeing the area towards Washington Blvd. in a black, possible BMW X3 SUV, with tinted windows, police said.

The suspects are described as two Male Blacks and two Male Hispanics. All suspects were wearing dark colored hoodies.
