Search For Body Resumes

CCPD Believes Infants Body in Corona Landfill

March 28, 2019

The Culver City Police Department has resumed its search of the El Sobrante Landfill for the remains of Jacsun Manson, on Tuesday, March 26th.

Kianna Williams and Adam Manson were formally charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office felony child endangerment resulting in death, with no bail. Both Kianna Williams and Adam Manson were arraigned at the Criminal Courts Building, a preliminary hearing has not yet been set.

Culver City Police now believe he died while his parents, Adam Manson and Kiana Williams were doing drugs.

The task will be difficult as the body may be fifty or more feet down under hundreds of tons of trash.

CCPD became involved in the case when the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services reported Jacsun missing. Police received the report several weeks after the infant went missing.

The infant was last seen on December 31. The parents were arrested on January 3 in a stolen vehicle, police said. Investigators suspect that the parents previously stole a different car from Upward Bound House on Washington Boulevard on the west side of Culver City. Upward Bound provides homeless families with housing and supportive services.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office the couple were “allegedly doing drugs and later found their child was dead.''

Anyone with information is asked to call Culver City Police Det. Raya at (310) 253-6318 or after hours the watch commander at (310) 253-6202.
