Longtime Culver Resident Robert (Bob) C. Plaice Dies

September 3, 1938 - May 5, 2018


Robert (Bob) C. Plaice, age 79 died in Auburn, Ca on May 5, 2018.

Born September 3, 1938 in Salinas, Ca. Bob was one of five boys born to Ralph and Phyllis Plaice. Bob was a member of the Navy serving during the Korean War. He graduated from Culver City High School in 1956, where he lettered in varsity track. A longtime resident of Culver City, Bob relocated to Sacramento, Ca and Sparks, Nevada before settling in Rocklin, Ca.

He was a published author and cartoonist and he enjoyed reading and drawing in his later years. He had a great sense of humor and was quick with a witty comment and a smile.

Survivors include his five children, Dee (Erick), Wanda (Russell), Denise, Ralph (Angie) and Randy, one brother Tom, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
