First Bank Announces Hiring Culver Native as VP


Frank Tapia joins First Bank's Business Banking Group in Southbay, Greater LA area Frank Tapia has joined First Bank as a Vice President of Business Banking for the Southbay and Greater Los Angeles area. His office will be located at First Bank's Torrance branch (21705 Hawthorne Blvd). In his new role Tapia will manage the business portfolio for his assigned branches while growing them organically and acquiring business clients. Prior to joining First Bank Tapia served as CFO for a private venture capital firm. He has more than 13 years of commercial banking experience. Active in the community, Tapia has served as a volunteer with the March of Dimes as well as the Ben's Bells Project. He was also a board member of The Art of Elysium. Tapia resides in the South Bay with his wife and three children. First Bank is one of the largest privately owned banks in the country with $6.1 billion in assets and over 100 locations in California, Missouri, and Illinois.
