Golden State Water Company Announces A+ Water Quality

Golden State Water Company has released its 2016 Consumer Confidence Reports (CCR), which highlight that the drinking water provided to customers across the company's 39 water systems met all state and federal water quality standards throughout 2016.

"Delivering quality drinking water to families across California is a serious business, and Golden State Water invests more than a half-million dollars each year to ensure that the water we serve customers meets even the most stringent quality standards," said William C. Gedney, Vice President of Environmental Quality for Golden State Water.

"The findings in the reports are a testament to our team of water quality and operations professionals who work tirelessly to protect the safety of the water we deliver."

Golden State Water recently distributed a bill insert to customers notifying them of where and how to access the water quality report for their customer service area at http://www.gswater.com. Hard copies of the report are also available upon request. Customers who get an eBill received an email alerting them that reports are available online.

Golden State Water regularly treats, tests and monitors the water it delivers for more than 230 regulated and unregulated elements, including lead and copper. Samples are analyzed by certified independent laboratories and submitted to the Division of Drinking Water.
