    Just like the girl's lacrosse team the baseball team is riding an eight game winning streak all the way to the top of the Bay league. The Centaurs next and final regular season game is Thursday, April 25, at home at 3:30 p.m. against Santa Monica. The Centaurs beat Santa Monica on the road last Tuesday 2-0. Three teams, Culver City, Palos Verdes and Santa Monica in the Bay league have all have 6-3 league records, but the Centaurs are in first place because they have beaten both of those teams....

    With the baseball team leading the way, the Culver City high school spring athletic teams are trying to fight through the Bay League season. Facing teams like Redondo Union, Mira Costa, Santa Monica and Palos Verdes every week can be a daunting task. The baseball team is the beacon light for the spring teams. The Centaurs are currently 13-1 and that's one of the best starts in school history. Last Wednesday they beat Redondo Union 2-1 at Redondo. They battle Redondo again on Friday at 3:30 p.m....

    The season still has a long way to go but the Culver City varsity baseball team is looking like a team that has moved into the category of being a good solid high school baseball team. Under the guidance of second year head coach, Devaughn Wallace the Centaurs are currently 8-1 and appear to be ready to be competitive in the tough Bay league.
