The CCUSD Board of Education met with the superintendent search firm, Ray and Associates, last week to discuss the initial framing of the search. The Board and the search firm also discussed the online survey that would be sent to all stakeholders to gather information about the qualities they would like to see in a new superintendent. A 29-year-old man was arrested last Saturday night on suspicion of driving under the influence after he allegedly crashed his motorized scooter into a 91-year-old pedestrian, killing him on a Lincoln Boulevard sidewalk, authorities said.
