Rugby Football Club La Takes On Seattle Seawolves Sunday At 3 Pm At Dignity Health

Los Angeles' newest pro sports team, Rugby Football Club LA, will host the league leading Seattle Seawolves on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Dignity Health Sports Park.

The Seawolves sit atop the Major League Rugby standings at 5-1, while RFCLA is 1-3-1 and residing in 10th place in the standings.

RFCLA is under new ownership with co-founder and CEO Pete Sickle, who has relocated the team from Atlanta to Los Angeles. The team is coming off a 22-22 draw against Old Glory DC and the previous week Los Angeles beat the Utah Warriors 36-32.

Coach Steve Brett and his squad will have their hands full against a potent Seattle squad. RFCLA Captain and flanker Matt Heaton is one of the top tacklers in the league as well as Andrew Coe is one of the top scorers.

Tickets for the event are as low as $20 with kids and parking free of charge. Tickets are available in advance at http://www.axs.com or at the box office at Dignity Health Sports Park. The game also will be televised nationally on FS2.
