Culver City Observer -

A rookie Officer was signed off of training yesterday, hours later (Noon) he was in the area of Tuller Ave and Venice Blvd when he observed an occupied vehicle that was reported stolen. He detained the subject without incident and through his investigation ultimately arrested him for vehicle theft.

The subject was transported, booked, and released. At 5:45 pm, the same subject committed a burglary to a garage in the 4000 block of Irving Place. The same rookie Officer located him and the subject was re-arrested without incident.
