Paul George has returned to All Star form as the Clippers put together a five-game winning streak before a tough loss to the Cavs on Sunday night. George had been out of the lineup for five straight games from Jan. 5th to 16th after tweaking his right hamstring once again.

The Clippers forward missed seven straight games earlier in the season dealing with the same injury. In his absence, the Clippers had struggled but have turned things around with his return. The team is excited to have their All Star forward back and excited about the team's overall play as of late. "Just getting him back on the floor is a positive thing for us" said Clippers coach Tyrone Lue.

These past few games a 'healthy' Clippers team has figured things out on both sides of the floor and it has led to improved play. "I think we're just taking the steps to grow as a team," George said. "We're sharing the ball. We're playing the right way. We're playing for one another, and I think our defense has been impactful. It's starting to affect games.

During the team's recent five game winning streak, George chipped in with 24.4 points, 6.6 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game. "My body has been feeling pretty good, and I have been working a ton to stay healthy and keep it that way," said George. "Everything is kind of falling into place at this point. We're healthy and starting to figure out our rotations."

The team is currently 1-1 on a road trip that will last them through Feb. 6th when they play Brooklyn. LA is now ranked fourth in the Western Conference looking to hopefully move up even further in the standings as they are only 2 games back of the third-seeded Sacramento Kings.

The Clippers continue their road trip on Saturday when they take on the Knicks at 4 p.m. and they play the Nets on Monday at 4:30 p.m. They return home for a 7 p.m. against the Mavericks on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and they face the Bucks on Friday, February 10 at 7:30 p.m.
