USC women's volleyball player Skylar Fields gets ready to spike the ball during a match at the Galen Center on the USC campus this season. The Trojans(21-10) play High Point University (23-9) in the first round of the NCAA Division 1 Tournament on Friday on the road. If they win they will probably face Ohio State on Saturday in the second round.

USC women's volleyball senior outside hitter Skylar Fields (Missouri City, Texas/Ridge Point HS) and sophomore setter Mia Tuaniga (Long Beach, Calif./Mater Dei HS) were each named to the Pac-12 All-Conference Team on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Freshman libero Gala Trubint (San Diego, Calif./Scripps Ranch HS) and senior opposite hitter Emilia Weske (Potsdam, Germany/Leibniz Gymnasium) each received all-conference honorable mention. Trubint and freshman outside hitter Jordan Wilson (Phoenix, Ariz./Hamilton HS) were named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team.

Fields and Tuaniga represent the 50th and 51st Trojans to be selected for all-conference honors and bring the program's total to 103 all-conference selections. In the Pac-12 specifically, they are the 39th and 40th Women of Troy to be chosen and bring the team's total to 80 All-Pac-12 certificates all-time. It is Tuaniga's first-career all-conference nod and the fourth for Fields who was chosen three times for Big XII honors while at Texas. For Weske, it is her second all-conference honorable mention (2021).

Trubint and Wilson bring the Trojans' total to 35 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team selections. It is the eighth time that USC has had two athletes recognized on the all-freshman team and the first time in back-to-back seasons following the selections of Tuaniga and middle blocker Tyrah Ariail (Frisco, Texas/Lebanon Trail HS) in 2021.

Fields owns four Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week awards this season and leads the conference in kills (570), kills per set (5.14 kps), points (616.5) and points per set (5.55 pps). Her total kills now rank third in USC single-season history and her points rank eighth. Tuaniga is the league leader in assists (1,293) and service aces (57). She set the Trojans' school record with 10 aces in a match this season and produced the second triple-double in program history during the rally-scoring era.

Weske became the 19th player in school history to reach the 1,000-career kill mark. She has scored 374.5 points this season and ranks 11th in career aces at USC (103). Trubint is sixth in the Pac-12 in both digs (404) and digs per set (3.88 dps). She was chosen twice this season for Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week laurels. Wilson is the team's third-leading scorer with 338 points as a three-rotation player. She has amassed 310 kills (2.82 kps) with a .233 hitting percentage to go with 25 blocks and 12 service aces.

USC (21-10) was awarded one of 32 at-large berths into the 2022 NCAA tournament and hold the sixth seed in the Texas quarter of the bracket. The Trojans will face Big South champion High Point (23-9) in a first-round match on Friday, Dec. 2, at Covelli Center in Columbus, Ohio. USC makes its first appearance in the postseason tournament since 2019 and the program's 38th overall. The Trojans own three NCAA titles (1981, 2002, '03) and are 127-41 (.756) all-time in the postseason with an 81-34 (.704) mark in NCAA tournament matches. USC also won three AIAW national championships (1976, '77, '80) prior to the institution of the NCAA's tourney.
