Keith Putney Productions presents The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" in Concert & The Best of 1967 as the next in the series of live concerts at the Grammy Museum celebrating the Beatles, performed by an all-star cast for two shows on December 3.

This album is one of the most important rock & roll albums ever made, an unsurpassed adventure in concept, sound, songwriting, cover art and studio technology by arguably the greatest musical group of all time.

When the album was released in 1967, radio stations in every city in Europe and America played it and everyone listened. For a brief while, the irreparable fragmented consciousness of the West was unified.

Recording sessions began in late 1966 for the album that changed the perception of what rock and pop music could accomplish.

In a singles-driven industry, Sgt. Pepper was an album, yet that seemed only to increase its impact.

The Beatles were never more fearless and unified in their pursuit of magic and transcendence. In its iridescent instrumentation, lyric fantasia and eye-popping packaging, Sgt. Pepper defined the opulent revolutionary optimism of psychedelia and spread the gospel of love, acid, Eastern spirituality and electric guitars around the globe.

It spent 175 weeks on Billboard Top Pop Albums chart and was #1 from the first of July to mid-October of 1967.

In addition to a complete performance of the album, you will hear classic tracks from 1967 by the Beatles performed by this stellar cast of musicians.

Jeremy Clyde

There will be special appearances by former lead singer of the Buckinghams, Dennis Tufano, who will perform big hits like "Kind of A Drag," and "Don't You Care," Ron "Sugar, Sugar" Dante of The Archies, and Jeremy Clyde (Chad & Jeremy).

The cast of all-star musicians also include: Bernard Fowler (Rolling Stones), legendary lead guitarist Laurence Juber (Paul McCartney & Wings), Robert Berry (Of "3" - trio that also included Kieth Emerson and Carl Palmer), musical director Marc Mann (guitarist from The Concert for George), Christopher Allis (drummer from Mike Nesmith's first national band), Cara Lee, Prescott Niles (The Knack), Jerry Raney (The Beat Farmers), and John Jorgenson (Elton John Band).
