Team Captain, Carlos Vela holds high the MLS Championship Trophy
After playing 97 minutes and two 15-minute overtime periods, the Philadelphia FC and LAFC stood in 3-3 tie. The game then went to penalty kicks and the LAFC came out on top 3-0 to win their first Major League Soccer Championship.
