Ghost Guns are sometimes made with the use of a 3-d printer.

Culver City police broke up an illegal street takeover near La Cienega and Jefferson Boulevards on Sunday morning and arrested a motorist on "ghost gun" charges.

Shortly after midnight, police units responded to that area to prevent a possible takeover/sideshow, which triggered an exodus of cars in all directions, according to the Culver City Police Department.

"As vehicles were leaving the area, one driver committed several hazardous moving violations," said CCPD in a Facebook post. After stopping the motorist, officers founded a "loaded Polymer80, semi-automatic, 9mm, with no serial number, known as a "Ghost Gun."

The driver was arrested and booked at the local jail without incident, said CCPD.
