7. New York Giants (5-1): Rookie head coach Brian Daboll has the Giants at 5-1 and in some ways, that should not be a surprise. Daboll won five Super Bowl rings as an assistant with the Patriots and a National Championship ring with Alabama in 2018. He was the AP NFL Assistant Coach of the Year in 2020, where he was the offensive coordinator and helped to develop quarterback Josh Allen. Against the Packers and Aaron Rodgers, Gardner had two pass break-ups, including a deep third-down effort to wide receiver Allen Lazard. 11. Green Bay Packers (3-3): The Packers were easily defeated at home by the Jets. 13. New England Patriots (3-3): The Pats have looked like one of the best teams in the NFL in the past two weeks with rookie quarterback Bailey Zappe as the starter. 22. Arizona Cardinals (2-4): The Cardinals have scored a total of three points in the first quarter of games this season. 23. Cleveland Browns (2-4): The Browns have a three-game losing streak after getting crushed by the Patriots, 38-15. 24. Denver Broncos (2-4): The Broncos are struggling on offense and struggling to score points. Two of the top three players selected in the 2018 NFL draft are members of the Panthers and they are both quarterbacks, yet there is a strong possibility that the Panthers will select a quarterback in the 2023 NFL Draft.
