Culver City Chamber to Host Council, School Board Candidates' Forums

The Culver City Chamber of Commerce will hold two Candidates’ Forums over the next two weeks to find out more about those running for the City Council and School Board this November.

The Chamber will host a forum for City Council Candidates on Tuesday, September 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Exceptional Children's Foundation - Kayne Eras Center, 5350 Machado Road. Culver City.

All six Candidates are expected to attend the event and provide answers to important issues facing Culver City in the coming years. The Council hopefuls include Denice Renteria, Freddy Puza, Devin Yaeger, Khin Khin Gyi, Alexander “Alex” Fisch and Dan O’Brien. They are vying for two open seats.

The School Board Candidates Forum will be held on Thursday, September 29, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Kayne Eras Center on Machado Road.

At this event, the candidates will answer questions about the business communities, their desired direction for the School District and the many cross-sections where business and education meet.

The School Board candidates are Howard Adelman, Marci Baun, Darrel Menthe. Summer McBride, Stephanie Loredo, Brian Guerrero, Triston Ezidore and Tracie Brown. They are running for the three open seats on the Board.

Space is limited for both events and reservations are recommended. Both the Council and School Board elections will be held on November 8.
