CCPD Seeking Suspect in Armed Robbery at Culver City ATM

Culver City police are looking for a suspect who robbed at gunpoint a man withdrawing money from a Culver City ATM last Saturday.

The armed robbery occurred around 1:25 a.m. on July 23 at the Chase Bank, located at 5670 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the Culver City Police Department.

The male victim had just withdrawn $1000 out of the Chase’s ATM when he turned around and a man approached him, holding a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money, police said.

“The victim was in fear for his life and handed the money to the suspect who ran towards the suspect vehicle and fled in an unknown direction,” police said in a press release.

The suspect is described by local police as a black male approximately 20-30-years-old, 6-feet tall and was wearing a gray hoodie with dark pants, black shoes and a black face mask.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call CCPD Sergeant Edward Baskaron at (310)-253-6202.
