Parole Arrested by Culver City Police-Attempted Burglary

Tuesday night at about 7:15pm, CCPD Officers responded to a call of a suspicious subject in the 4000 block of Madison Ave. The resident stated that a male subject knocked on her door, peered through her window, and went into her backyard. She also provided a physical description of the suspect and added that he had attempting to enter multiple apartments through their backdoors. Near Overland Ave and Culver Blvd, Officers located and detained a subject that matched the resident's provided physical description of the suspect. The subject was positively identified as the suspect by the resident. It was also learned that the suspect was on parole for burglary and had just been released from prison this week. T

he suspect was placed under arrest for attempted Residential Burglary and provided a full confession. Formal charges will be sought with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
