Toscana Ogihara, of Culver City, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College on Sunday, May 22, in a Commencement ceremony concluding the college's 210th year.

A dance and movement studies and neuroscience major, Ogihara graduated with departmental honors in dance and movement studies.

Ogihara completed a dance and movement studies thesis titled "Discrete Junctures (choreography)," and a neuroscience thesis titled "Examining the Role of Adenosine and Extracellular-Regulated Kinases via Spontaneous Field Potentials in Anoxia Tolerant Trachemys scripta."

Gillian Zucker, a member of Hamilton's Class of 1990 and president of business operations for the NBA's LA Clippers, was awarded an honorary degree and delivered the Commencement address.
