CCHS Softball

While playing mostly infield for the Culver City High School girls softball team, the sure-handed Evann McDowell was named to the All-CIF Division 4 softball team this week. She had the second highest fielding average on the varsity team, at .981. The senior also batted .506 with 39 hits and 13 doubles. After losing five of their six games at the beginning of the season the Lady Centaurs turn their season around and finished second in the tough Bay league with a record of 8-2 and they made it to the CIF playoffs. They finished the season 16-12 overall.
