Culver City police this week arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with two residential burglaries in the Lindberg Park neighborhood.

The burglaries occurred in the early morning hours of May 31, according the Culver City Police Department.

The first burglary occurred around 3 a.m. in the 5000 block of Fairbanks Way. The suspect entered the garage at that property and stole a bicycle and miscellaneous tools, CCPD said.

The second incident occurred around 4 a.m. in the 10800 block of Ocean Avenue. The suspect once again entered the victim's garage and stole miscellaneous tools, police said.

Following the burglaries, members of the CCPD Partnership in Policing Team (PIP) began collaborating with residents from the Lindberg Park Neighborhood Association to obtain video surveillance images of the suspect, police said in a statement The PIP Team then shared the video with patrol officers.

Within one hour of the video distribution, a suspect was identified from previous theft and drug-related arrests, CCPD said. On June 4, the suspect, a 25-year-old Male Hispanic from Los Angeles, was found and arrested on two counts of residential burglary, police said. His name was not immediately released.

"The Culver City Police Department would like to thank the members of the Lindberg Park Neighborhood Association for their collaborative efforts in helping identify the suspect in this case," CCPD said. "Community partnerships, like these, are the foundation of our Department's success.

This case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing consideration, CCPD said.
