At press time State Senator Sydney Kamlager and former Los Angeles city Councilwoman Jan Perry appears in unofficial result to hold one the two spots on the general election ballot for the seat Rep. Karen Bass relinquished to run for mayor of Los Angeles.
Kamlager currently holds 43.68% followed by Perry with 18.51% with Culver City Councilman Daniel Lee with 16.20% currently of the vote hold in the 37th Congressional District, according to figures from the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk. Lee also serves as the current Mayor of Culver City.
Each of the top three candidates is a Democrat. All four other candidates have less than 10% of the vote.
Bass has endorsed Kamlager to represent the predominantly Democratic district that stretches from South Los Angeles to Culver City.
Current vote counts and standings are as follows:

The voter turnout nears an historic low. There were 822,545 ballots cast; 580,358 voters who cast by mail ballots and 242,187 voters who cast ballots at vote centers. There are 3,293 precincts in Los Angeles County and 5,690,637 registered voters in Los Angeles County.
According to the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office, 14.45% of registered voters in Los Angeles County cast ballots in Tuesday's primary.
Bass and developer Rick Caruso will square of in November to become the next Mayor of Los Angeles.
