Sparks Return to Spectrum SportsNet for 10th Season Record 29 Games to Air Locally

 

The Los Angeles Sparks announced today their 2022 local broadcast schedule, returning for the 10th season on Spectrum SportsNet. The official TV home of the Sparks, the network will air 29 regular season games – 17 home games and 12 road games – tipping off Friday, May 6 at 5 p.m. PT against the Chicago Sky.

"We're excited to have an expanded local broadcast schedule with a record number of games and increased programming surrounding the Sparks season," said Sparks Managing Partner Eric Holoman.

2022 Broadcast Team

The Sparks broadcast team is led by play-by-play announcer Rahshaun Haylock, with Ros Gold-Onwude and Allie Clifton serving as analysts. Additionally, Lakers sideline reporter Mike Trudell will serve as a guest analyst during select games.

Haylock is a sports reporter with KTLA and has done television and radio play-by-play for the Sparks, USC, and Long Beach State.

Gold-Onwude is an Emmy Award-winning reporter and analyst with ESPN and is featured on First Take. She is a sideline reporter on NBA and WNBA national broadcasts. She played basketball collegiately at Stanford University alongside Nneka Ogwumike.

Clifton is an Emmy Award-winning reporter and host for Spectrum SportsNet's AccessSportsNet studio team. She also co-hosts SportsNet's Lakeshow podcast alongside Chris McGee and Mike Bresnahan.

Schedule

The Sparks tip off the 2022 season against the Chicago Sky on May 6 at 5 p.m. PT on Spectrum SportsNet. A total of 29 games will air locally on SportsNet and the remaining seven games will be televised nationally on Amazon (1), ESPN (1) and CBS Sports Network (5).
