Anti-Semitic Flyers Distributed in Culver City Neighborhood, Police Investigating

Anti-Semitic hate flyers were distributed in Culver City on Monday, and an investigation is underway, local police said this week.

"The incident involved the distribution of an anti-Semitic, hate publication in one Culver City neighborhood," the Culver City Police Department said in a statement on Tuesday.

A number of residents of the Park West neighborhood – south of Culver between Sawtelle and Sepulveda – called the police department early Monday morning regarding the fliers, and "13 copies of this publication were found," CCPD said.

Titled “Every Single Aspect of the Covid Agenda is Jewish,” the flyer featured a series of acronyms in red, blue and black ink and included a QR code for people to access a website. It also contained a list of names connected to federal offices or pharmaceutical businesses who were identified as being Jewish.

"This publication was produced by a known hate group who has distributed similar hate materials in surrounding cities," police said. "The Culver City Police Department condemns all forms of hate, and we stand in solidarity with our Jewish community.”

Mayor Daniel Lee told local media that “the anti-Semitic flyers that have appeared throughout LA County in the last few months have now been seen in Culver City. These flyers are meant to induce fear, to provoke and to divide our community. We will not be divided and we will not tolerate hate in our community.”

In its statement, CCPD said, "We will utilize all resources available to us to fully investigate this matter and bring any criminal offenders that are identified to justice. We are working diligently with our community partners, neighboring agencies and other law enforcement partners on this incident.”

"Any criminal activity that is discovered as a result of this investigation will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for criminal filing consideration," the statement added.

Anyone with information on the case was urged to call Culver City police Sgt. Eddie Baskaron at 310-253-6316, or the watch commander at 310-253- 6202.
