April 28, 2022

Billy J. Kramer

Keith Putney Productions presents the complete "Meet The Beatles!" as the next in the series of live concerts at the Grammy Museum celebrating the Beatles performed by an all-star cast for two shows on May 1.

February 1964 was the month of the Big Bang of popular culture, with the Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan show and the chart debut of "Meet the Beatles!"

By the spring, The Beatles had the Top 5 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, and this spring - 58 years later - there will be a celebration.

As of May 9, 1964, The Beatles had placed 18 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 - including "I Want To Hold Your Hand," "P.S., I Love You," "Twist and Shout," "She Loves You," "All My Loving," "Roll Over Beethoven," "I Saw Her Standing There," "Love Me Do," among others.

Sal Valentino, The Beau Brummels

Their UK friends followed, and two from Liverpool - Billy J. Kramer and, formerly of the Hollies, Terry Sylvester - will be performing. Kramer will perform his biggest hit, "Bad To Me," written by Lennon and McCartney, among others. And Sylvester will deliver "The Hippy Hippy Shake," and others.

Former lead singer of the Buckinghams, Dennis Tufano, will perform big hits like "Kind of A Drag," and "Don't You Care."

The Beau Brummels' lead singer Sal Valentino will do some of his classics like "Laugh, Laugh," as well as join in on "Meet the Beatles!" for a couple of songs.

The cast of all-star musicians also include: Rob Bonfiglio (Wilson-Philipps, Brian Wilson), legendary Laurence Juber (Paul McCartney & Wings), Jerry Raney (The Beat Farmers), Bill Cinque (Neil Diamond), Christopher Allis, Cara Lee, and Musical Director, Jeff Alan Ross (Badfinger, Peter Asher).
