The Bruins swept through another foe as they took care of conference rival, the Oregon Ducks winning games 3-1, 5-2, 4-2 last weekend at Easton Stadium on the UCLA campus,

The Bruins have not lost a game since Feb. 20th when they matched up against the second-ranked Florida State Seminoles at the St. Pete Clearwater Elite Invitational.

The Lady Bruins have played amazing softball in every aspect of the game. Led by great hitting and great pitching along with this team’s will to add another championship to this prestigious program makes the Bruins a tough team to beat right now.

“Staying true to who we are and knowing that it’s one game at a time and staying present” said pitcher Lauren Shaw on how the team doesn’t become complacent with the winning streak.

Freshman Savannah Pola says, “Our coaches teaches us to do the little things, so we make sure we do the little things which helps us to be successful”.

With a handful of great players playing so well, who knows, the Bruins may take this streak all the way to a championship.

Over a month away from the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City let’s see if this year’s team can keep it going and eventually bring home another title to Westwood.

This weekend the third ranked Bruins who are 31-3 overall and 9-0 in Pac-12 play travel to the Bay area to play Stanford on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
