A man was punched in the head and his Rolex watch was stolen during an armed robbery in the parking lot of a Culver City shopping center last week and now police are asking for help in identifying the gunmen.

The armed robbery occurred around 5 p.m. on March 23 at 11463 Washington Blvd., according to the Culver City Police Department.

The victim told police officers he was getting out of his car when two masked suspects approached him. One of them pointed a handgun at his chest and then his head while demanding his Rolex watch, valued at about $13,000, said CCPD in a statement.

After stealing his watch and cell phone, one of the suspects “punched the victim in the head before running away,” police said.

It remains unclear if the robbery was captured on security video of the nearby businesses. Both suspects were described by police as Black males, in their early 20s and about 5-foot-8. One was 210 pounds and the other was 180 pounds.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact Sergeant Eddie Baskaron at 310-253-6316.
