Fab Four

There are three great concerts coming to the Canyon Clubs.

On January 21, The Fab Four, will take the stage at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills.

If you close your eyes and listen to The Fab Four sing a Beatles song, you will think that the boys from Liverpool had transported themselves back from the '60's. That's how accurate and authentic their sound is – arguably the world's best Beatles tribute band.

When you open your eyes, you will see four lads on stage that closely resemble the Beatles – John (Ron McNeil - band founder), Paul (Andy Sarraf), George (Gavin Pring), and Ringo (Erik Fidel).

The show will include three costume changes representing every era of the Beatles career, including their Sgt. Pepper "uniforms" and John all decked out in white singing "Imagine." Even when the band members chat in-between songs with the audience, they sound like the Beatles.

Each song they will play will not disappoint. Especially one of their anthems, the song "A Day In The Life" which seems to put the crowd in a very good mood. Everybody will have a smile on their face. Other notable songs they sing are "Hard Day's Night," "Something," "Twist And Shout," "Here Comes The Sun," and "I Want To Hold Your Hand," among many other great hits.

And then two concerts in Agoura Hills.

One of the very best Bee Gees tribute bands, Bee Gees Gold, will make an appearance on January 22.

John Acosta as Barry Gibb has performed all over the world. His portrayal is with zest for detail, like no other. From the look to the falsetto, he is spot on.

It is the ultimate salute which also features Daryl Borges (Robin), and Jeff Celentano (Maurice).

Backed by a live band, they recreate the look and the sound from the 60's to the late 70's performing early hits - "Massachusetts," "I Started a Joke," to the later disco classics - "Stayin' Alive," "You Should Be Dancing," among many others.

And then Raul Malo, charismatic frontman for The Mavericks, is taking a break from their tour to take the stage solo on January 28 for a special performance.

Raul Malo

The Grammy winner is the sole writer of many of their songs and has a hauntingly beautiful and lush baritone voice. Drawing on a mix of classic country and cow-punk standards, Malo, a son of Cuban immigrants, and his genre-defying band have been entertaining their adoring fans for nearly three decades.

Their sound broke ground with hits like "Here Comes the Rain," "Crying Shame," and "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down." After many years of touring, and multiple gold and platinum albums, The Mavericks' critically acclaimed "In Time" (2013) re-introduced music lovers to their exquisite melting pot of music. A unique combination of Cuban tethered to dyed-in-the-wool Americana. They also released "Mono" in 2015 which made them even more relevant.
