Pitii Passes at 101

Ethelyne (Mickey) Mae Pitti, 101 of Hemet, California passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at home with her three daughters by her side. Born on Sunday, December 14, 1919 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of the late Judson Clark and Ruth Wallace Clark.

Mickey met her husband Carl while they were working in Yosemite National Park. Both enjoyed fishing, hunting and entertaining. While living in Culver City, CA. Mickey was very active in community organizations, having a profound impact on the young and old. Through the Girl Scouts of America she lead Brownie Troop 26 into Senior Scouts and the Mariner Ship Williawa for more than 15 years. Her efforts in fundraising helped establish the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Center in Culver City. Mickey served as president of the Women's Division of the Chamber of Commerce 1965-66. She served as PTA President of Farragut Elementary School, Culver City Junior high school and Senior high school.

After raising their family, Mickey and Carl retired to their ranch, Pitti-ful Acres 3, in Hemet, California.

Mickey was an avid volleyball player who participated in many senior Olympic Competitions and the Huntsman Word Senior Games, retiring from volleyball at the age of 97.

Mickey is survived by her daughters, Diana Riley of Vista, Karla Pitti of Hemet, Paula Pitti of Santa Clarita, Jimmie and Katie Jones, grand-children Jason Pitti, Rick Riley, Heather Riley and Adam Pitti , 5 Great Grandchildren.
