Culver City Police are looking two suspects who committed an armed robbery at the local mall last week.

The armed robbery occurred on October 20 about 7:40 p.m. in the parking lot of Westfield Culver City, located at 6000 Sepulveda Boulevard, according to Culver City Police Department press release.

Police said the victim was sitting in his parked vehicle in the parking lot when a white sedan stopped behind him, preventing the victim from leaving the parking space. One suspect walked up to the victim's window, pointed a gun at him and demanded he give up his wallet, CCPD said.

"Fearful of his safety, the victim provided his wallet to the suspect, who then got back in the front passenger seat of the white sedan and fled east on Slauson Ave," police said.

The victim then followed the white sedan onto the 90 Freeway and saw the main suspect lean out of the passenger window and point his gun at him, police said. The victim then exited the freeway and reported the crime at CCPD. No shots were fired at the victim.

The main suspect was described by police as a 20-year-old black man wearing a gray or white hoodie. The other suspect, the driver, was unknown. No other details were released.
