The legendary, dynamic duo of Hall & Oates took the stage at the sold out Hollywood Bowl much to the delight of their long-time adoring fans.

Before they took the stage, a montage video played going down memory lane from their history together since the '70's. And then they delivered all of their greatest hits.

Even after all these years playing together, one could tell that they still thoroughly enjoy their partnership. It really is amazing how the duo have endured and have to arguably be one of the greatest in music history.

Just about every fan sitting near me was singing along to every song and up in their seats dancing and swaying to the music. It was a feeling of bliss at The Bowl.

They got things started with one of their six number 1 hits, "Maneater." And then engaged the audience with the five other ones, as well.

Hall has always been the lead singer and frontman with Oates playing guitar and providing back-up vocals and harmony. Kind of like "Robin' to 'Batman.' But you can tell that Oates has no complaints with this arrangement.

When they sang a cover of "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin,'" 'Robin' got his chance to share the spotlight with 'Batman' by also singing some vocals. If the Beatles gave Ringo a few songs, then Oates should get a least one.

Their six-man band was also up to the task, creating a great sound. Sax player, Charles DeChant, has been with the duo since the mid-'70's.

Hall made reference during the show about their early days as Philly boys, going back to their roots where songs like "She's Gone," and "Sara Smile" were born. Two of their huge commercial hits.

"I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)" and "Out Of Touch" then lit up the crowd.

They ended the concert with a spectacular four-song encore that helped the audience depart on a positive note - "Rich Girl," "Kiss On My List," "Private Eyes," and then closing the show with "You Make My Dreams."

At the end of the night, all of the fans collectively thought that it was well worth the wait when the original date was postponed due to Covid.

No doubt that Hall & Oates will continue to 'make dreams come true.'
