September 30, 2021

"Tito's Tacos (https://www.titostacos.com/) has been serving up our award-winning Mexican food cuisine to Los Angelinos since 1959," remarked Lynne Davidson, President of Tito's Tacos Mexican Restaurant and granddaughter of its founder. "We look forward to partnering once again this year with Tito's Handmade Vodka (https://www.titosvodka.com/) in hosting TITO'S FIESTA MEXICANA 2021, a traditional Mexican fiesta in celebration of National taco Day and National Vodka Day, and together give back to the diverse community that means so very much to us all."

"We're incredibly grateful to come together with Tito's Tacos for a fourth year to connect with the LA community on this joy-filled occasion," said Brian Herlihy, Field Marketing Director at Tito's Handmade Vodka. "At Tito's Handmade Vodka our motto is to turn spirits into love and goodness. Everything we do is rooted in giving back to our fans, especially on National Vodka Day!"

TITO'S FIESTA MEXICANA will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on October 4th at Tito's Tacos, located at 11222 Washington Place in Culver City. And this fun outdoor event will be for a deserving cause since 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Culver City Arts Foundation (https://culverarts.org/). Additionally, all attendees providing voucher proof of having arrived by Culver CityBus will receive a $5 transit discount.

Outstanding food and an array of superlative entertainers will make this a night to remember. And what a slate of entertainers there will be!

The three distinguished performers of Trio Chapala will fittingly start off the fiesta with a medley of romantic mariachi tunes to set the mood.

Eric Schwartz, the "Master of Funnies," is a popular standup comedian who touts himself as being one-quarter Mexican because of his mother's remarriage, when he was young, to a successful Mexican jazz musician who helped raise and influence him. His appearances include the Tonight show, Showtime, Comics Unleashed, and BET, and his refreshing cross-cultural (Anglo y Latino) bilingual humor makes him an ideal host when folks of different cultural backgrounds get together to have an enjoyable time.

Since its founding in 1981, the critically acclaimed Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez, which is well-recognized for having performed in some of the most prestigious concert arenas around the world, has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards. Its bandleader, Jose Hernandez, an internationally recognized musician, composer and educator, has recorded with Selena, Vicente Fernandez, Luis Miguel, Bryan Adams, and the Beach Boys.

A comedian, actor, and writer, Jesus Trejo is one of the hottest young standup talents on the comedy scene today. Born in Long Beach, CA to parents who migrated from Mexico to the US (father was a gardener and mother was a maid), he graduated from Cal State Dominguez Hills, has worked as a valet car parker at The Comedy Store, starred in a recent Showtime special ("Stay At Home Son"), and had recurring roles in a number of television series including "Mr. Iglesias" with fellow standup performer Gabriel Iglesia

Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles, an all-female ensemble under the musical direction of Jose Hernandez, is well-renowned on both sides of the US/Mexico border for its accurate and polished presentations of traditional mariachi music as the songs were originally written to be performed. Founded in 1994, the Grammy-nominated ensemble has had enormous impact as a groundbreaker and role model for women in music.

Both Tito's are graced with a kind and giving philosophy. As an iconic and popular Southern California restaurant for the past sixty+ years, Tito's Tacos has been recognized for its unwavering philanthropic efforts, including being awarded the Good Neighbor Award by the California Restaurant Association, and Small Business of the Year by the California State Senate. Giving back has always been at the heart of Tito's Handmade Vodka, and this event underpins their mission to turn spirits into love and goodness.

Sipping well-crafted libations, savoring tasty samplings of Mexican cuisine, being entertained by a superb selection of performers, AND concurrently supporting Culver City Arts Foundation, a great organization that's dedicated to preserving the past, enriching the present, and creating the future of arts and culture in Culver City – well, it doesn't get much better than that.

Salud!
