City Attorney Carol Schwab to Leave Post at the End of Year

Carol Schwab, the longtime City Attorney of Culver City, has announced she is leaving her post at the end of the year.

Her plan to step down was announced at Monday's night Culver City Council meeting.

Mayor Alex Fisch said leaving her department is "bittersweet", noting that Schwab has provided her legal expertise for decades to city councils, commissions, committees and boards, as well as all city staff."

"She leaves some very big shoes to fill," he added.

Schwab has been practicing law since 1985.
