Chargers to Host Nike '11- On' Football Competition for Southern California High School Student-Athletes

 


Head Coach Brandon Staley to speak to student-athletes about football,

higher education and professionalism

The Los Angeles Chargers will host their first annual Nike ‘11-On’ football

competition for high school athletes in Southern California. The event is part

of the Chargers long-standing dedication to high school football by inspiring

players, supporting coaches and celebrating the game at all levels.

Head Coach Brandon Staley will kick off the event by talking about higher

education, professionalism and how football can be used as an opportunity to

become the best version of themselves.

Nike ‘11-On’ is a scholastic-based, team-oriented, character-building event

that supports high school football competition while also focusing on building

life skills like leadership development both on and off the field. Student-athletes

participate in games of 7-on-7, offensive vs. defensive lineman challenges,

team building exercises such as tug-of-war and character education discussions

throughout the day.
