Father and Son Robbed at Gunpoint at Culver City Mall

 

Culver City police are looking for two suspects who robbed at gunpoint a man and his teenage son at the local mall on Tuesday afternoon, stealing their watches and jewelry worth $136,000, authorities said this week.

The robbery took place on June 29 at about 3:30 p.m. at the second level of Westfield Culver City, local police said.

The two suspects approached the man and his son, pointed a semi-automatic handgun at them, and demanded their jewelry and watches, Culver City Police Department said in a press release. "In fear for their lives, the victims complied and gave the suspects their property," police said.

The property stolen included one Cartier watch valued at $25,000, one diamond encrusted gold necklace valued at $85,000 and one diamond encrusted necklace valued at $26,000, CCPD said.

The suspects were last seen exiting the mall on foot, CCPD said.

The suspects are described as follows:

1) male Black, 18-25 years old, wearing a gray Nike hooded sweatshirt, light gray jeans, and black Air Force One shoes, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun;

2) male Black, 18-25 years old, black "Rick and Morty" hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and gray shoes.
