A woman is now on the mend after she was found on Tuesday night with gunshot wounds in her arm and leg near the corner of Culver Boulevard and Motor Avenue, local police said.

Around 10 p.m., Culver City police responded to an incident in that vicinity and found the woman with 2 gunshot wounds. Culver City Fire Department then transported her to a hospital.

The name of the victim has not yet been released, police said.

Authorities believe the shooting happened somewhere in Los Angeles. An investigation is now underway and being handled by the Los Angeles Police Department.
