Virus Takes Mother, Father One Day Apart

Brianna Trejo's mother Cindy, 47, and her father Ruben, 51, passed away within a day of each other at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, California.
A young woman orphaned by Covid has told how her father died of the virus three weeks after receiving the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
Ruben, a mental health tech, was due to get the second shot of the vaccine last Monday [Jan 18] but he died a week earlier, on January 12.
Brianna, 22, from Inglewood, California, said: "My dad was going to get the second dose.
"He was so close but he passed away.
"People need to be more careful.
"The virus can take out an entire family in the blink of an eye."
