"When this all started back in March, it was graduation season, and we had a great response to our yard displays, because people still wanted to find ways to celebrate life's milestones," says Lisa Brubaker, COO of Balloons by Tommy in Torrance. "Then, innovative parents came up with the idea of drive-by birthday celebrations, and our outdoor yard balloons were also a great addition to those," she said. "Now, we want to help people celebrate what is traditionally seen as a big transition, a time of renewal and starting fresh, New Years Eve."

To do so, Balloons by Tommy is offering custom printed balloons with the phrase "2020 Sucks" as well as unique options like "pop drops," which are meant to simulate balloon drops often experienced at large events on New Years Eve.
