Santa Monica celebrated Veterans Day “as we do every year,” said a post from Acting City Manager and Interim City Attorney Lane Dilg.

“Councilmember Gleam Davis and mother to a West Point graduate and service member opened the ceremony,” Dilg wrote.

“Today, November 11, 2020, we celebrated Veterans Day in a virtual ceremony alongside the Los Ange-les Army Recruitment Battalion at our beautiful Veterans Memorial in Palisades Park. On this day, November 11th, each year, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and love of country of those who have served our country in the Armed Forces.”
