Culver City and Los Angeles firefighters extinguished a fire at a vacant commercial building on Thursday.

Heavy smoke poured from the building at 10801 W. Venice Blvd., according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Dept."Crews fighting fire inside the structure are now withdrawing to transition to defensive operations (applying water from the exterior only), as the battle continues," officials reported at 11:45 a.m.

The building comes up in a Google search, as the Los Angeles Dental Center Building.
