Sur La Table sells expensive cookware.

Sur La Table will close several Los Angeles locations, including stores in Santa Monica, Woodland Hills, Los Angeles and El Segundo as the company shutters more than half of its stores across the U.S. this month.

The chain is one of many retail companies closing stores in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The company announced in July that it was restructuring and filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing the pandemic for closing 56 retail locations.

Separately, Viva Vegan Restaurant at 1028 Wilshire Boulevard, said a March Facebook post that it is closed.

"Until further notice, are only offering takeout dining. We will not have dining seats available for our guest but all of our delicious food, desserts and beverages can be enjoyed in the comfort of your home.

You can come in and order, phone in to pick up curbside or use one of the following delivery services; Grubhub, Door Dash, UberEats and PostMates," reads the Match 16th post.
