The Culver City Council will be holding

a Special Meeting on Thursday,

July 16 at 7:00 pm to consider extending

the current interim rent control and

tenant protection. The meeting will be

virtual.

The current measures were implemented

in August 2019 for a period of

12 months. A proposed extension would

last until October 31.

On June 11, 2020, the Council decided

to consider a permanent local

rent control and tenant protection program.

At the meeting, they will also take

up what should be included in such a

program.
